Based on wikipedia, kimchi jeon is a variety of jeon, or Korean pancake-like dish, primarily made with sliced kimchi, flour batter and sometimes other vegetables. Kimchi jeon is often recognized in Korean culture as a folk dish of low profile that anyone could make easily at home with no extra budget. It is usually served as an appetizer, snack or banchan (side dish).

lets just start it ! i cant wait lol

ingredients:

100 gr Kimchi

salt to taste

2 tbsp flour

vegetable oil

Directions:

In a bowl, place 100 gr of chopped kimchi, 1 tbs chopped onion, salt, 2 tbsp flour, and water (its kinda hard to tell bc i measure with eyes and feeling lol ) until it becomes a fluffy mixture you know, when u are about to make a cake. got it, yes?

just mix it well with a spoon.

Heat up a non-stick pan over medium high heat and drizzle about 2 tbs of veggies oil

Place the mixture of kimchi pancake batter on the pan and spread it thinly and evenly with a spoon.

Cook it for 1-1 ½ minutes until the bottom gets golden brown and crispy.

Turn it over with a spatula or flip it.

cook until both side are ready

The weird thing is, I only like kimchi with a certain brand :/ I always buy it at the Korean supermarket near my office. I was inspired to make a cute pie after watching a youtube video. For the crust, I use our beloved Maggie's recipe as always lol For the filling it was just sugar and cinnamon powder.

Ingredients:

125 ml sour cream

250 g plain flour

200 g unsalted butter chilled

4 apples, sliced thinly

200 gr granulate sugar

1 tbsp of cinnamon powder

a bowl of water

direction:

To make the pastry, dice the butter, then pulse with the flour in a food processor until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.

Add the sour cream and continue to pulse until the dough starts to incorporate into a ball.

Wrap the dough in plastic film and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Roll the chilled pastry out until 3 mm thick and cut to suit your chosen recipe.

baked until golden brown.

As for the rose apple. I'm just slicing apple thinly (cut apple in half, then just slice it very thin)

put all those sliced apple in a bowl of water, sugar and cinnamon powder.

microwave it for 5 minutes till it soft and you can bend it

arrange the apple to the center of the pies.

serve

I often use this recipe if my relatives had a visit on my home . because its a very easy recipe . plus ,it doesnt use butter (so far for me it is the most expensive ingredient for a beginner) . i've tried so many recipes but this one is the softest and richest brownies i've ever made . its originally miss. Liem's recipe but i changed it a lil bit because the original recipe is too sweet for my liking. So , lets get started :)

ingredients :
6 egss
200 gr granulated sugar
vanilla extract
a pinch of salt
1/2 tsp emulsifier
125 gr all purpose flour
50 gr chocolate powder
175 ml cooking oil
100 gr dark cooking chocolate
75 ml condensed milk

step by step:

1. whisk together flour , chocolate powder and salt in a bowl . toss a side.
2. beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy . add emulsifier . then add the flour mixture.
3. add the oil and dark cooking chocolate to the batter and beat it until incorporated.
4. divide the batter into 3 parts . add the condensed milk .
5. steam the 1st part without milk for 10 mins. then add the batter with milk and steam it for another 10 mins and finally, put the rest of the batter without the milk for 20 mins.

tips:

1. put the batter into the pot when it well steamed
2. cover the lid of the steamer pot with cloth
3. u can add cashew ,peanut, or almond to the batter

I made this recipe for my nephew's birthday last January. I uploaded this photo in my instagram and people were asking about the recipe a lot hahahhaha so, here I am writing this recipe for you all. To be honest, I used the last recipe I share you in this blog. The only thing I add is whipped cream between layers and strawberry at the bottom.

Ingredients:

4 cup of high protein Flour

4 cup of Milk

4 Egg

4 tbsp sugar

pinch of Salt

4 tsp of Baking Powder

Butter to cook

1 jar of Nutella Hazelnut Choco

1 pack of whipped cream

strawberry or any desired fruits

direction:

In a bowl, whisk together all the ingredients (except the butter)

let the batter sit for 5 minutes.

Preheat a non stick skillet over medium heat

Add a tiny bit of butter to help them not stick.

Cook up your pancakes in batches for about a minute or so on each side or until golden brown.

After all the batter is done cooking, cool it off.

Whip the cream (follow the instruction on the packaging) and prepare your nutella

All i do is to add 1 crepe, spread nutella on top of that, then spread the whipped cream on top of that .

Repeat the action until all the pancake is used.

Top all of the stacked pancake with strawberry.

That's it. its a hard work but its worth it.

Beef and broccoli is one of the most popular Chinese stir fry dishes but I’m not actually sure whether Beef and Broccoli is a westernized version of a Chinese dish, or whether it is in fact just a Western Chinese dish. I got this recipe from my mom tho. cause she made this dish since i was a kid.

ingredients:

300 gram beef flank steak, sliced

1/2 teaspoon soy sauce

2 teaspoons vegetable or canola oil

1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon sugar

1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper

For the Sauce:

2 tablespoons water

2 whole shallots, sliced

4 cloves of garlic, diced

direction:

Marinate the beef first. In a medium bowl, combine beef with all marinade ingredients. Mix well and leave it for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, For the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine sauce ingredients and set aside.

Now lets cook the broccoli first. Fill a wok halfway with water, season with salt, and bring to a boil. Add the broccoli and cook about 1 minute.

Wipe wok dry, then return to heat. Add 1 tablespoon oil and heat over high heat until smoking. Add beef and cook without moving until lightly browned on bottom. Continue to cook while stirring regularly until about halfway cooked through. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.

In a cleaned wok, add 1 tablespoon oil to wok and heat over high heat until smoking. Add shallots and garlic and cook until the fragrance come out then add the broccoli and cook for a minute.

Look at this beautiful baby on the plate! Salmon is the same as usual. Just grill it with salt and pepper with olive oil. Super noms!!! The spaghetti only needs garlic, salt, pepper and onion. Super noms too! What happened when 2 super noms food combine together! Heaven! That’s what I had last weekend! Just boil spaghetti until al dente. Stir fry onion and garlic with olive oil , add the spaghetti , season with salt, pepper and chili flakes. That’s all. You don’t need to spend 3 hours to make your lunch, only 20 mins and you can have lunch this good. Until next time~

In this blog post, lemme tell you about my favorite sandwich! My favorite sandwich is all related to avocados. Avocados for me are the vegan version of butter. I love the texture when you combine it with crusty bread. The very basic sandwiches will probably avocados with chili flakes. This is so amazing. I probably already eat this a million times in my whole life. I never thought that I am gonna make a blog post about it considering it’s just a pretty basic food I have at home.

Now the basic is already been revealed, it is all up to what I have in refrigerator. It could be chicken, egg, shrimp, or any other protein. I will add it to the top of the avocados hehehhe Isn’t easy to make sandwich? Well, at least it is easy to make my favorite sandwich! So, until next time ~

garlic, salt and pepper. Add the rice. That is all. Every Indonesian can cook

This is what I eat with my nephew for this past few days lol
what a bad aunty. I made him instant food because my sister is giving birth to
another child. So I have to take care of my nephew and feed him. I see that I have
instant marinara sauce and cream cheese in the refrigerator. So, I just bought
fresh mushroom, broccoli and wheat spaghetti.

All I have to do is cook the spaghetti as usual. While the
spaghetti is cooking, I chopped 1:2 combinations of garlic and onion. With another
pan, I melt the butter, add the garlic+onion until the fragrance is coming out.
Then I add chopped mushroom and broccoli. Cook it until the mushroom is softer. Don’t
forget to add salt and pepper then I add
the marinara sauce. That’s it.

Just serve the spaghetti with the mixture of mushroom and
marinara sauce, top it with cream cheese. it is so easy and so yummy. Nom nom nom

is absorbed by the oats. Serve with honey and fruits that available. I usually
made my milk coffee too to accompany this bowl of amazingness and watch some Korean

I was actually using this recipe from youtube click! and i added a sugar glaze on the top after i baked them. I changed also the raspberry jam with strawberry jam. If you open the link and just follow the recipe, you will be fine. It's not a difficult recipe :) Once cookies are cool, make the glaze: Whisk together powdered sugar and
lemon juice in a bowl. Using a piping bag i just made a zig zag kinda line on the top of the cookies. Place cookie back on cooling rack and allow it to sit
until glaze sets.

I shamelessly going to repost this recipe from joyofbaking because I have tried his recipe twice and this recipe is fault free hehehhehe thank you for sharing. The only thing I did not do is the lemon frosting hehehehe I always use the regular vanilla icing in grocery store hehehe it saves my time a lot when I am craving for lemon cake :D here we go!!!

Ingredients:

1 cup (230 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature

1 cup (200 grams) granulated white sugar

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

4 large eggs, room temperature

Zest of 1 large lemon (outer yellow skin of lemon)

2 cups (260 grams) all purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon juice

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) and place oven rack in the center of the oven. Butter, or spray with a non stick cooking spray, a 9 inch (23 cm) spring form pan and then line the bottom of the pan with parchment or wax paper.

2. In the bowl of your electric mixer (or with a hand mixer) beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy and pale in color (about 3-4 minutes). Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed. Beat in the vanilla extract. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition (batter will look curdled).

3. Sift or whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and lemon zest. Add the flour mixture (in three additions) alternately with the lemon juice (in two additions), mixing until you have a smooth batter.

4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with the back of a spoon or an offset spatula. Bake about 40 - 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. (Do not over bake or the cake will be dry.) Place on a wire rack to cool for about 15 minutes, then gently remove the sides and bottom of the pan.

5. Then cover with vanilla icing. Serve with a cup of tea. nomsssssssssss
