carrot cupcakes


it's been a long time since I want to try carrot cupcakes by myself. especially after trying carrot cake from Magnolia's bakery. hell yes! my friend bought me some cupcakes from New York :D i can taste the crunchiness of pecans from Magnolia's carrot cupcake. the recipe i will give u below doesnt need pecans . well, its just because pecans are expensive ,so i didnt put pecan lolololololol the recipe below is originally from Bogasari Baking Center Cake Baking Course and the recipe is for around 12 cupcakes. here we go!!!!!!

Ingredients :
  • 250 gr egg 
  • 300 gr castor sugar 
  • 2 gr salt 
  • 5 gr emulsifier *i didnt use it* 
  • 260 gr flour 
  • 1 gr baking soda 
  • 1 gr baking powder 
  • 1 gr cinnamon powder 
  • 450 gr shredded carrots 
  • 150 gr cooking oil but i use canola oil

cinnamon pretzels


im looking for Auntie Anne's pretzel look alike's recipe at google and found this recipe at allrecipes.com . ive read the review and people said that its pretty similar with auntie anne. well, i guess will give it a try :D i have a sudden crave with pretzels after i re-read my Breaking Dawn novel for the thousandth times lol Bella was eating pretzels at the book and i have this stupid unstoppable urge to make it lolololol so, yeah! at the end i cant stop my self and found my self googling the recipe :D hahhahhaha okay, guys! lets roll!!!! <3 omg wait i forgot to tell you that allrecipes.com now has a cool tool to adjust the recipes! wowoowow below its the adjusted recipe for 3 people :D

ingredients:
  • 1  tsp dry yeast
  • 1/4 tsp white sugar
  • 1/4 cup and 1 tablespoon warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 1+1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  •  3/4 teaspoon vegetable oil
  •  2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1 cup hot water
    topping *my version*:
    cinnamon sugar + melted butter

bakwan udang / shrimp cabbage fritter snack


halllooooo :) this is a very very very common indonesian snack :D its cheap and u can find it anywhere hehehhe actually my sister came today and ask me to cook this hehehe we r both love this so much!!!!! btw i searched it on google, turn out to be there is a page of bakwan in wikipedia :D well, based on wikipedia, bakwan is an Indonesian fried meal consisting of vegetables and batter. Bakwan usually refer to vegetable fritter snack, commonly sold by gorengan (Indonesian fritter) traveling street vendors.  In West Java bakwan is called as 'bala-bala'. It is also similar to Japanese yasai tenpura (vegetable tempura). as vague as my memory is, i think my hometown even have a name for this snack but i forgot huhuhu something like ote-ote?? lol well, anyone comes from east java?? help me :D

ingredients:
  • 100 gr of shredded cabbage
  • 100 gr of shredded carrot
  • 100 gr of bean sprouts
  • 2 egg
  • 150 gr shrimps
  • flour
  • water
  • salt and pepper
  • garlic powder
