I made almost 25 pancakes last weekend and my family loves it to death. Kids saying it was suuuuper delicious. I am so glad lol I got this recipe from youtube and I memorized it already because I made this a couple of times before.
ingredients:
- 250 gr self rising flour (I didn't use it in this photo, that is why it wasn't as fluffy as before)
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 egg , separate yolk
- 360 ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 75 gr melted butter
direction:
- in a measuring cup add yolk to the milk. whisk together well.
- add vanilla extract
- add melted butter. whisk it again.
- in a bowl. combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
- add the milk mixture to the flour mixture. mix together.
- now whisk the egg whites separately until soft stiff are formed
- add this to the batter
- gently fold through with spatula.and that's it . we are ready to cook it.
- use a saucepan and u can use butter to grease the pan
- drop in one large spoonful at a time. when bubble appear on the surface flip it over
- do not press down
- repeat the process until all the batter is used.
- drizzle with maple syrup or like me
