Bakwan usually refer to vegetable fritter snack, commonly sold by gorengan (Indonesian fritter) traveling street vendors.  In West Java bakwan is called as 'bala-bala'. It is also similar to Japanese yasai tenpura (vegetable tempura). as vague as my memory is, i think my hometown even have a name for this snack but i forgot huhuhu something like ote-ote?? lol well, anyone comes from east java?? help me :D

  • 100 gr of bean sprouts
  • 2 egg
  • 150 gr shrimps

directions:
  1. in a large bowl , just combine all the vegetable .
  2. mix with the egg.
  3. add the flour and water slowly until its reached the right consistency .  so, it wont dispersed when its fried.
