veggies quiche

Based on wikipedia, A Quiche is defined as an open faced savory tart (pie) filled with a smooth and creamy custard-like filling. The name "Quiche" comes from the German "Kuchen" which means "cake". Quiche originated in the Lorraine region of France and the classic 'Quiche Lorraine' has a filling made with beaten eggs, cream (milk) and bacon. Today, a Quiche can have a wide range of flavors and while it normally has a custard filling, with bacon (or ham, sausage, or some kind of meat), it often includes vegetables and cheese. almond and cheese muffin

Jakarta has been so cold lately . im sooooo tempting to make  muffins :9 ahhhhhhhhhhh so, i made them for breakfast this morning :D this is mba Ruri's recipe .  There are two kind of methods to make muffin . first is the classic method, one that tells you to pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir them just until moistened (western method), it creates a  lumpy batter; and the other one that tell you to whip it with electric mixer while its hot . it creates more watery batter . most of Indonesia's bakers say its ruri's method bc mba Ruri who introduced this method first .the classic western method wud make a crumbly muffin , the indonesian Ruri's method wud make a moist muffin .

ingredients:
  • 175 gr flour
  • 115 gr butter
  • 55 cc water
  • 2 eggs (100 gr)
  • 150 gr sugar
  • 4 gr baking powder

spaghetti with pesto sauce and pan fried salmon

Before i start writing about the recipe. im gonna tell you how i spent my last weekend. i already read these books at the summer last year but decided to re-read it again bc apparently they will make this book into movies. After reading divergent trilogy,i cant help but ended up asking my self which one of the faction that fits me the best?? Def not a Dauntless since im absolutely couldnt handle bloods at all and im not even an Abnegation bc im a selfish human being. Candor is not even an option.i maybe look frank&open but thats a lot of lies beneath me plus i want some secrets still remains as a secret

Prob i fit Erudite the best bc it seems that im a tricky person and i live in the name of curiousity.ha! But Amity looks tempting with their peaceful harmony and mutual understanding towards relationship. Hmmmmm Or maybe im just a Divergent just like Tris and Tobias. Or maybe even worse that im factionless. Either way,u guys HAVE TO read the book!

now onto the recipe :) hehhehhehe actually, i did already write basil pesto recipe before. but its okay,i will write it again for ya all. recipe is originally from Beth! thank you,bb! :)

ingredients:
  • 2 handfuls of basil leaves roughly 8 oz
  • 2/3 cup of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • Sprinkled pepper
  • 4-6 cloves of garlic
for salmon:
  • fillet salmon
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

japchae

based on wikipedia, Japchae (jabchae, chapchae) is a Korean dish made from sweet potato noodles (called dangmyeon, 당면), stir fried in sesame oil with various vegetables (typically thinly sliced carrots, onion, spinach, and mushrooms), sometimes served with beef, and flavoured with soy sauce, and sweetened with sugar. It is usually served garnished with sesame seeds and slivers of chili. It may be served either hot or cold.

ive tried this dish two times at Korean restaurant. its very simple dish. truth is, i have this kind of food in my country. it almost taste the same. mom almost cooks this every week hheheheh the different is just the noodles. i walked to the Korean grocery store closed to my office to buy the noodles. this weekend, i made Japchae out of curiosity ! here we go!
  • 200 gr vermicelli noodle
  • different types of vegetables: i used carrots, spinach, green onions.it will be good to use mushroom also! but my mom used my mushroom that i bought :( so, i dont have it anymore. the measurement is kinda blurry . because it depends what you like. i love carrots, thats why im using more carrot. i use 2 big carrots and 1 small package of baby spinach.
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 chopped onion
  • a half of green pepper
  • Soy sauce
  • Vegetable oil
  • Sesame seed oil
  • Toasted/Roasted sesame seeds (black or white)

  • A class of cakes intended to be eaten alongside coffee (for example, as part of a breakfast meal) or that may be eaten during a "coffee break" or offered to guests as a gesture of hospitality on or around a coffee table. They are typically single layer cakes that may be square or rectangular like a Stollen or loaf-shaped rectangular cakes, or they may be ring shaped. bulgogi kimbab

Based on wikipedia, Gimbap or kimbap is a popular Korean dish made from steamed white rice (bap) and various other ingredients, rolled in gim (sheets of dried laver seaweed) and served in bite-size slices.Gimbap is often eaten during picnics or outdoor events, or as a light lunch, served with danmuji or kimchi. its a very famous dish from Korea, we always see it in every Korean dramas.

Gimbap is derived from Japanese futomaki (Makizushi) during the Japanese rule. No wonder , it looks the same. Sometimes, i dont even know the difference beside its size ahhahahha But kimbap is not considered fine or fancy fare in Korea, it's actually picnic and snack food that you eat with your hands. The literal translation of the word gimbap is seaweed rice. These two things are the most basic components of gimbap. From there, you can find many variations on the filling, including fish, meat, eggs, and vegetables, whether pickled, roasted, or fresh. i made the simple one, basically anything that left in my refrigerator hehehhe

Ingredients:
  • Dried seaweed (nori)- 4 sheets
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 carrot
  • cucumber, cut into long strips
  • 2 eggs
  • ground beef (bulgogi)
