chinese beef and broccoli

Beef and broccoli is one of the most popular Chinese stir fry dishes but I’m not actually sure whether Beef and Broccoli is a westernized version of a Chinese dish, or whether it is in fact just a Western Chinese dish. I got this recipe from my mom tho. cause she made this dish since i was a kid.

ingredients:
  • 300 gram beef flank steak, sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable or canola oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper

For the Sauce:
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

For the Stir-Fry:
  • 250 gr  broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable
  • 2 whole shallots, sliced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, diced

Subak Hwa Che (Korean Watermelon Punch)

I made this drink because my ultimate girl crush, Victoria Song made this at Happy Camp before and the MC said it is sooooooo good! Even one of the MC posted in weibo about this drink thingy. ahhhh gotta make one too for myself!!!!! it is super easy !

Ingredients:
  • watermelon, cubed or balled
  • milk
  • Sprite
Direction:
  1. Cut up the fruit into cubes (or use a melon baller).
  2. Put the fruit into a large bowl.
  3. Finally, pour in the milk and Sprite; the ratio of milk to Sprite should be 2:1.
  4. Refrigerate for about an hour.
  5. enjoy!
super easy, right? :D
