baked fusilli

another pasta recipe, its a nice change for those who always cook with bolognaise or carbonara or alfredo way lol why don't we bake it? yummm :)

  • 8 ounces uncooked fusilli
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 jar  spaghetti sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 to 2 cups (4 to 8 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain. In a large bowl, beat the egg, milk and salt. Add pasta; toss to coat. Transfer to a greased baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce. Spoon over the pasta mixture.
  3. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with the cheese. Bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
