I got this recipe from my staff hehhehe they often making this. Thank you, doll :) It is so simple. I thought it would be difficult!!!
ingredients:
- 2 large oranges
- 4 cups sugar, divided
- 3 cups water
- Cut and peel each orange into 4 vertical segments. Remove each segment (including white part because it makes the candy bitter)
- Cut into 1/4-inch-wide strips.
- Cook in large pot of boiling water 15 minutes, drain, rinse, and drain again.
- Bring 3 cups sugar and 3 cups water to boil in medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Add the orange peels.
- boil for 60 minutes or until the peel became soft.
- prepare a bowl of sugar and roll the peel into the sugar. one by one.
- Lift peel from sugar and then transfer to sheet of foil.
- Leave it until the coating is dry.
- Then you can put it in a jar and put it at refrigerator for 2 months.
