calamari rings

Calamari rings is a perfect snack for accompanying me in the busy day in front of computer. It  doesn’t take time at all. Pssst I always buy the cleaned ready to fry calamari ( I know , lazy me) lol lets just get started . lmao don’t be too surprised coz that’s all you gotta do :p

  • 1/2 kg of Cleaned Calamari, already cut into rings
  • 1/2 cup All purpose Flour
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable Oil, for deep frying
  • Lemon Wedges and chilli Sauce, for serving

  1. In a large zip lock bag, add flour and season with salt and pepper. Add calamari and shake around to make sure every ring is coated in the seasoned flour.
  2. Sift the calamari to get rid of any extra flour and slip the calamari rings in the hot oil and cook for about 3 minutes or until lightly golden and crispy.
  3. Take them out and lay them on a paper towel lined plate and sprinkle with some salt and pepper.
  4. Serve with sauce and lemon wedges. Serve immediately!
