This recipe is a basic recipe of Indonesian food blogger, I think. What I mean by basic is everyone is using this recipe cause this recipe is fault free. I totally enjoy using this recipe because everyone love it when I use this recipe. All the hard work need to be credited to the amazing woman at NCC and esp Mba Fatmah who always share the aaaaaahmazing recipes. God, I am so blessed to be a part of this amazing community.

  • 250 gr oreo only the black part or any cookies u want
  • 100 gr melted margarine
  • 200 gr granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 kg cheese cream. my favorite is elle&vire
  • 250 gr plain yoghurt

whipped cream, blueberry jam, any fruit jam, fresh fruit, oreo, chocolate butter cream, anything u want.

  1. Prepare the springform pan. im using the 22cm diameter pan. Butter it generously. google it if you dont know what kind pan is that. for prevention of the mixture leaking, i usually cover the pan from the bottom with alumunium foil. 
  2. crush the biscuits then add the melted margarine. Stir it well 
  3. put it on the it and leave it in the refrigerator until we need it. 
  4. Prepare 2 mixing bowls. First beat the cheese cream until smooth. Leave it 
  5. Move to another bowl . Beat egg and sugar till foamy then add cheese cream and plain yoghurt 
  6. mix it well. 
  7. pour to the tin and bake with au bain marie technique for 90 minutes. more info about this baking technique --> click me 1st and click me 2nd
  8. leave it to room temperature until it chills (approximately 8 hours). This will ensure that the cake is firm enough to avoid breakage and remove cake from the pan. to remove the cheesecake from the springform pan sides, use a very thin knife that has been warmed by dipping in hot water and dried. Go around the edge of the cheesecake to loosen it using a slow up and down motion. Open the springform pan's ring. The cheesecake will slide easily on to a plate.
