rose apple pie

I was inspired to make a cute pie after watching a youtube video. For the crust, I use our beloved Maggie's recipe as always lol For the filling it was just sugar and cinnamon powder.


  • 125 ml sour cream 
  • 250 g plain flour
  • 200 g unsalted butter chilled
  • 4 apples, sliced thinly
  • 200 gr granulate sugar
  • 1 tbsp of cinnamon powder
  • a bowl of water
  1. To make the pastry, dice the butter, then pulse with the flour in a food processor until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
  2. Add the sour cream and continue to pulse until the dough starts to incorporate into a ball.
  3. Wrap the dough in plastic film and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Roll the chilled pastry out until 3 mm thick and cut to suit your chosen recipe.
  5. baked until golden brown.
  6. As for the rose apple. I'm just slicing apple thinly (cut apple in half, then just slice it very thin)
  7.  put all those sliced apple in a bowl of water, sugar and cinnamon powder.
  8.  microwave it for 5 minutes till it soft and you can bend it
  9.  arrange the apple to the center of the pies.
  10.  serve
