i just had this dish 3 days ago for dinner and i absolutely love it . im a huge fan of tom yam :D whenever i go to Thailand's restaurant , i will always order tom yam :D i make it extra extra extra spicy lol i just love spicy food so much , i dont know why .i wish my husband ( i mean my future husband lol) will love spicy food as much as i do :p
Ingredients
- 1 roll packaged soba noodles
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 stalk lemongrass, white part only, pounded and bruised
- 5-6 kaffir lime leaves, bruised
- 4-5 slices fresh galangal
- 1/2 small tomato, cut into 3 to 4 wedges
- 6 medium-sized shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
- 3 dashes chili powder
- 10 chillies or as much as u want the degree of spiciness
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
- Cilantro leaves, for garnishing
- salt
